[What is this strange goblin technology? Why is it not blowing up in his face?

I- ah, I owe you an apology. For being so stubborn. And probably an explanation because I'll probably do it again.
Spending most of my time with the Kirin Tor, being the next Guardian, resting isn't exactly something I got to do. Even if I was tired or sore. Guardians don't get that rest, our duty is to Azeroth and it's people, protecting it.
I'll try to be better about that. So...
I'm sorry.
video
No, it's-- you don't have to apologize to me! I was the one who lost my temper. I was totally, completely out of line.
[His ears pin against his hair.]
I don't know anything about Guardians specifically, only the whispers of legends in books, but-- that sounds terrible, really. So I understand. I feel the same way, sometimes, like I... I have to prove myself.
I'm very sorry.

[He doesn't really believe there's an 'out of line' with him. Especially since he's not the Archmage that Belthezar thinks he'll be.]
It wasn't awful but I didn't agree with it. It's just.... lonely. Medivh at least taught me that. "Loneliness. It makes us weak."
You don't have to prove anything, not to me. You were worried and I made that harder.

[Belth feels bad for bringing it up constantly but really, it's Khadgar. He's not going to pretend he can be buddy buddy with someone like that and not know exactly who he's dealing with.]
It was lonely... [He tilts his head a little, eyes closing.] I understand that, at least. Magic has a tendency to isolate, doesn't it?
[He lifts his sleeve to his face and rubs his nose. When his arm lowers, he's smiling a little.]
I ceased being cross with you as soon as I left your ship. You were only doing what you felt you had, and I knew that, so...
video
[He gives a tiny grin, look how much more easygoing the younger Khadgar is. Probably. He doesn't know. He imagines Archmage-him as stuffy.]
It does, it really does. My family gave me to the Kirin Tor because of it, so I only had the other apprentices, really.
I'm glad!
video
[He really is more easygoing, and also hardheaded. Belthazar's never known the older Khadgar personally so he's not sure what to expect... but he didn't really expect this. Then again, he didn't really expect Anduin to be so stubborn, either. And just.
These humans just keep surprising him.]
It's unfortunate that your family thought giving you up was better. Magic has always been in my family, and we were never punished for it.
Are you well?
video
It brought the family honor, offering me to them. It's alright, I got over it years ago.
I am. Maglor bound my ribs for me.
